Our Alexandrite’s are lab grown and the material is completely the same as best varieties of the natural Alexandrite – Russian, Brazilian or Rhodesian. Natural Alexandrite is extremely rear and more expensive than even diamonds, especially stones bigger carats stones.
Crystal grown via the Czochralski pulled method.
We only cast in solid metals
Metals we use :
Solid sterling silver
Solid gold – 10k gold, 14k gold and 18k gold
Black rhodium plating – This is a process of plating over sterling silver, gold or platinum.
The plating will wear over time exposing the sterling silver, gold or platinum.
Black rhodium rings are not fully black, rings will be somewhat light black in colour.
We do our best to get as black as possible but the process varies each time.
